My name is Lori Hambridge and I am the founder of Booksmart Bookkeeping Solutions.  

My story began more than 30 years ago in Sydney, where I joined a leading IT firm specialising in data storage and disaster recovery. When I started, it was a small family owned business of just five people. Over the next 12 years, the company grew to more than 150 staff, and so did my responsibilities. I progressed through various roles and ultimately became the Administration Manager and Assistant to the CEO. From managing payroll for a large team to overseeing the Stores Department and supporting executive operations, it was a fast paced, high responsibility environment that shaped the meticulous, client focused approach I bring to my work today.

After relocating to the South Coast and completing my Advanced Diploma in Accounting, I became a Registered BAS Agent and founded Booksmart Bookkeeping Solutions. Our team works closely with each client’s financial information to ensure a personalised, responsive service without sacrificing attention to detail.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients, including not for profit organisations, building and construction, tradies, retail and wholesale operations, professional services, finance, education and hospitality. This breadth of experience allows me to tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs and industry requirements.

I work closely with my clients and genuinely care about their success. Whether managing compliance, tidying up accounts, or offering practical advice, I am here to help.

Outside of work, you will find me doing Pilates, enjoying a good book, spending time with my family, or relaxing with our much loved bulldog, Bunkus. I am passionate about what I do and take pride in building long lasting relationships grounded in trust, accuracy, and genuine care.
